Inputs and suggestions for new Assam IT Policy 2016 new

The last IT Policy of Government of Assam was framed in 2009 . Since then several changes have taken place Information and Communication Technology Sector and other emerging technology areas that calls for a revision of the existing Policy. The Government of Assam would like to bring out a new IT Policy covering various areas and as well as to create an ecosystem for investment promotion in the IT/ITeS Sector of the state for creation of job and employments.

For the first time, the Information Technology Department Government of Assam is embarking on a time-bound grassroots consultative process, which will enable the the IT Department to reach out to citizen , individual IT entrepreneur, small , medium and big IT firms, Industry associations, academia to provide their valuable inputs and suggestion for finalizing the Assam IT Policy, 2016

IT Department cordially request all the stakeholders to participate in the consultative process and send their comments & suggestions in the designated email id draftitpolicy2016@amtron.in, which to be submitted on or before 10th August'2016
