AMTRON has been participating in various State, National and International Trade Fairs around the globe demonstrating its capabilities and showcasing the products and services innovated, developed, designed and maintained by it. AMTRON has also received very important awards in most of the events it has participated in.

Internet Service Provider (MagicSurf)

Amtron is providing Broadband Internet Service to end users in several towns in Assam in the brand named 'MagicSurf'. Optical Fibre is being used extensively for quality bandwidth. Amtron also provides Web-hosting and Mail-hosting services on open source and Linux platform.

Our hosting servers run on Dual Intel Xeon Dual/Quad core processors with 4 - 8 GB of RAM and RAID protected hard drives with redundant power supplies, providing the power, versatility, and reliability for high-end website hosting requirements at outstanding performances with headroom for peak workloads, resulting in faster response times.

Linux Operating System

We exclusively use the Linux (Enterprise/Fedora/CentOS) operating system on our website hosting servers. Linux is one of the most popular server operating systems in the industry today due to it’s scalability and track record as the most stable operating system on the market. It is constantly under active development which insures a reliable, secure, and robust platform for website hosting environments.

Datacenter

Our website hosting servers operate out of the world class datacenter with multiple tier-one backbone providers including Powergrid, Airtel and BSNL.

VO-IP Telephony and IVRS

VO-IP Telephony was first launced by AMTRON during the 33rd National Games 2007 held in February 2007 at Guwahati. Subsequently, Amtron has rolled out IP Telephony services for Government/Non-Government (NGOs) establishments as well including the AIDS Control Society, NEWSLIVE Media Channel, SWAN Network, CSCs, etc. It provides intelligent IVRS services to cater to different environments.

SMS Gateway (SMS)

Amtron also launched its SMS services as part of the value added services for the Games Management System during the 33rd National Games held in February 2007 at Guwahati.

Education and Training

AMTRON is giving its priority to Computer Education in a big way in order to bring Computer awareness and quality Computer Education in the NE region. It owns a very good Computer Education set up and also has a strong Franchisee network. We conduct our own computer course imparting training to the employees of different organisations on Basic Computer Course, designed specifically as per their requirements as well as DOEACC ‘O’, ‘A’ and 'B' Level courses. CISCO Networking Academy is in the pipeline. High end training courses such as Linux, NOVEL networking and GIS/GPS will be introduced shortly.

Data processing

AMTRON has one of the premier data processing set up in the entire NER. The data processing activities were upgraded in recent time to provide a wide range of services to the entire NER. AMTRON completed the Electoral Rolls of Election Department, Assam, with the technical collaboration with CMC Ltd, India. It had also completed the data processing works of various departments such as Telecom, India, FCI, India, ASEB & in the education sector of Assam.
